Seed collection workshop, March 2025

We were excited to start our workshop series in March, and it felt fitting that it was on seed collection - from tiny seeds, a forest will grow. Despite being on the hottest day of the summer, ecologist Dan Moore demonstrated to over 20 enthusiastic participants how to collect, prepare and grow various native seeds.

"It was good to see live material and to interact with it. I also enjoyed the introduction phase where everyone got to hear a story from folk living in various parts of the district."
